It's when I post pictures of dolls in a theme. It can be mine or from Google. Or both!!!

So, a few days, or at least 1 week ago, Doll Diaries posted pictures of Caroline Abbott. Needless to say - she looks amazing. A lot like me with curls and without glasses. She seems to be in very good quality.

I want her for Christmas, or ASAP after she gets out.

American Girl has good dolls (facemold, clothes, etc.) and high quality.

I like the learning element of the historical characters.

They make the dolls smart, helpful, kind, and innocent.

They have AG places, that are like stores with a Cafe or Bistro and activites you can do with your doll, and THAT is fun.

The author for her books will be Jessie Haas. The illustrator will be Sarah Davis. (Fact - it is on Doll Diaries)

Her name will either be Saige or Teagan. (Both are trademarked names by Mattel)

I hope she is focused on either an instrument (oboe, flute, clarinet or sax) or acting.

She would have high - functioning autisim. (It is in high demand on Doll Diaries)

She will have wavy red hair and sea green eyes and the Josefina mold.

She will be a very kind person, while being friendly, caring, helpful, trustworthy, and truthful.

1) Have a good camera, or a camera you know how to work.

2) Make sure you have the correct lighting for your photos.

3) Use quality props, or props you've made yourself. For making props, I suggest Doll Diaries - they have very good crafts. (optional)

4) Set up the scene. Whether indoors or outdoors, make sure it looks just the way you want it. (optional)

Tips :

- try taking pictures at different angles

- for better results, have doll eyes looking away from the photo

- have a background

Now, you're ready to take good doll photos!

In Spring, a while ago, I did a photoshoot with my dolls.

Nellie looks so peaceful, doesn't she?

Kaya looks like she's at home - this picture was taken outside, where Kaya lived in tents in her time.

I have more dolls, but it's getting near night, so I'll stop for now. I have more dolls, though.
